A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That...

Hi Mom!

Kai loves Krue's glasses.

She tries to pull them off every time.

Lee loves his little girl.

Krue with his sport glasses.

Kiefer looking more serious than usual.

Sweetie pie Kai.

Papa Sam and Grandma Beth having fun with Kai.

Upward Basketball

Krue has started playing Upward basketball and loves it! His dad is his coach, which makes him love it even more. Their team is the Lions and they are pretty darn good for kindergarten and first graders. Here are some pictures of Kruser and Coach Lee in action...

After each game the coaches hand out special stars for particular things they did in the game. For this game Krue got the "good sportsmanship" star. A kid from the other team elbowed him and Krue didn't get mad about it.

We see Krue improve at each game. It is really cool to see him get so excited to play basketball. He loves it and it shows on the court. Krue is truly enjoying himself out there. Today he shot a basket and made it! Go Kruser!

Lee's New Toy...

...Like he needs another one!
Lee's new kite for kite-boarding
Yes, thank you Mom, for throwing Lee into another thrill-seeking & adrenaline pumping hobby. For Christmas my mom bought Lee a trainer kite for kite-boarding! I couldn't believe it. Lee was ecstatic and I think he texted all of his friends immediately when he got it.
Well, you know Lee, never one for patience. Instead of waiting to use the trainer kite first he went ahead and bought an actual big kite for kite-boarding. He says he is still going to take the time to practice steering on the trainer kite.... but he just couldn't wait to get his hands on the real deal.
Lookout Hamilton Lake! Lee Nagel will be kite-boarding this summer.
(Lots of prayers would be appreciated! And Mom, Lee still needs to sign that contract.)

Special Tuesdays

The kids and I still go down and visit Baba and Mamaw every other Tuesday in Bluffton. We really look forward to this special time (and nice break away from our everyday routines). On our last visit Ali was home from Houston so we all went to lunch. It was so much fun!

Kai, at the head of the table, ordering from the menu... she's beyond her years :)

(I didn't do my hair on this day... you mom's of three understand!)

New Years Party ~ Hello 2010!

For New Years this year we went to Sam & Beth's lake house for a Pajama Party! It was so much fun... and very comfortable. It was a small party this year, but we all had a great time. My mom and dad watched the kids so Lee and I had a nice night out on our own.

Here are some of the crazy pictures...

This picture CRACKS ME UP! Some of the Nagel brothers... Dan, Lee, and Heath. They look like little boys (except Dan's beard makes you think otherwise!)

Dan and Abby

Take a look at Dan's beard in this picture... and then watch it transform throughout the night...

We all voted that Dan should not have facial hair of any sort.
Here's to another great New Years Party.
Cheers!

Catching Up!

Well I'm back. I am on a mission to start blogging again after taking a short break. Busy times, busy times! This is for my faithful fans who have been waiting for more ... Jenn, Myah, and Dad. Lots more to post, but this one will get you going.

Our Christmas Celebrations!

Wow! Lots of Christmas's to journal. As I was posting these pictures I realized what a poor job I did with capturing the moments at each Christmas. Oh well... next year I'll do a better job. We enjoyed all of the special time we shared with our family members and feel truly blessed to be surrounded by so much love!!
