Krue's 6th Birthday

On March 1, 2010 Krue turned 6 years old!
He is very proud to be 6 and is acting older every day.
Just recently Krue asked us if he could start working like adults do to make money. He wants to save up for a ping pong table :) Lee and I decided to have him start working at DeKalb Chiropractic Center one day a week for about 40 minutes. He walks right in, gets out a garbage bag and empties all of the trashcans (there are a ton)... and then he refills the cups on the water dispenser. He gets paid $5 and he brings it straight home and puts it in his piggy bank. It is going to take him awhile to save up for that ping pong table, but we think it is great that he has such a strong work ethic at this young of an age :) He takes his work very seriously!

Opening some fun presents on his birthday.
Spiderman slippers and a Captain America costume (because "Kiefer always gets fun costumes to dress up in!"... this is the first year he has ever shown an interest in costumes.)

We invited some of his friends to Crazy Pinz for a birthday party!

Having fun bowling.

It was a fun party!
Happy Birthday to our sweet and not-so-little-anymore guy, Krue.

February Habanera Party

Lee & I and Neal & Mel were on the committee for the February Habanera party. It was Asian themed so we put decorated for the "Chinese New Year". It was a really fun party and we enjoyed talking, laughing, learning "The Hustle", and dancing the night away!

Our "Kai-Kai" ~ January, February, March

Here are some of my favorite Kai pictures I have collected over the past couple of months (6 & 7 months old!)...
Our sparkly-eyed girl!

Uncle Adam serenading Kai.

Kai and her Mommy!

Kai fell into the tissue paper at Natalia's shower and posed for a couple shots!

So Happy!

" Hi Ali!"

Checking out the cool shadows on the floor with Baba.

Pretty in the sunlight!

Our doll baby.

Warming up to Uncle David :)

"Uncle Adam is so much fun! He flips me upside down!"

" Aunt Amos is so silly!"
"That Baba... she is silly, too. I think that is where Aunt Amos gets it!"

The Boys ~ January, February, March

Here are some of my favorite pictures I have collected over the past three months of the boys. I figured it would be easier to describe them in one post...

Okay, this one has Kai in it, but I thought I would throw it into "the boys" blog entry.
I just love this picture!

Kiefer and Graham having some "down time" on our bed, watching a movie.

Five kids in the car!
It is always an overwhelming feeling to look in my rear view mirror and see all of these precious faces... and know that I am responsible for getting them safely somewhere.
(I wonder if this ever goes away?)
I think this is a great picture of Kiefer with his Baba.

Kiefer posing with his froggy rain boots!

Krue had a playdate with his buddy, Landon. They had so much fun!

Kiefer got a Robin costume for his birthday and put it on immediately.

We have to throw a Lauren and Kure picture in there. Having fun in the snow!

Kiefer watches Krue make his Valentine cards.

Opening special Valentine packages from Baba & Papa Joe!

Playing with the new markers from Baba & Papa Joe!

Kiefer says "Peace".

I think this pic is so cute. Krue is showing Ali his new loose tooth. He has lost a total of 6 teeth already and has 2 loose ones now!

The boys love Uncle Heath and Aunt Amy's house. They have tubing that they can swing from in their basement!

Krue takes a turn.

Ornery!

Mamaw with her boys!

~ In memory of dear Cotton~
I think this picture turned out so good.
