Something Fun on a Saturday Night...

A couple of weekends ago Lee and I took the boys to Crazy Pins in Ft. Wayne. We had heard wonderful things about this place because Papa Sam and Grandma Beth took the boys while we were in Indonesia. Both Krue and Kiefer could not stop talking about it... so we decided to check it out with them.

Crazy Pins is huge! It has a restaurant, 4 different rooms of bowling alleys, a kids arcade/play area, and bar. The neatest thing about it is that it has a kids section that has bowling alleys made just for them! It has shorter alleys, smaller/closer pins, and small balls with no holes so the kids can put their hands around them.

Krue and Kiefer once again had a blast. Here are some pictures...

After we bowled, Lee took the boys into the REALLY AMAZING and REALLY HUGE obstacle course/play area that they have. It is a child's dreamland. I think they could have spent all night in there...

Ah, nothing like a fun family night together.

Halloween 2008 ~ We're Off to See the Wizard!

This year for Halloween we did a Wizard of Oz theme. (Even though the boys have never even seen the Wizard of Oz!) Lauren and Graham were the other half of our theme.

Scarecrow Kiefer and Tinman Krue

The boys enjoyed handing out candy for the first half an hour.

A picture with Baba.

Check out the boy's entourage! Both sets of grandparents and Mamaw!

"Let's go trick or treating, mom!"

Dorothy Lauren and her Tinman Krue.

The whole gang... Graham, Lauren, Krue, Kiefer (It was almost impossible to get a decent shot of these four!)

Having so much fun!

Look Mom... No Training Wheels!!

Yesterday was such a nice day for November 1st! We enjoyed ourselves outdoors... working around the house and playing with the boys. Here are some of the activities we did:

Lee was teaching Krue how to wakeboard by using a skateboard and rope :)

Kiefer was all smiles because he got to wear his "paddies".

Uncle Heath stopped by to play.

Kiefer, watching Krue "wakeboard".

Kiefer, getting a chance to try it himself!

And now... the moment you've been waiting for... yes, the title of this entry is true... Krue learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels! Here is video to prove it. It was so exciting!

Krue... learning to ride his bike in the morning.

Krue... riding his bike later in the day. Wow! Look at him go!

Kiefer, not to be outdone, learned how to ride his bike with training wheels.

Welcome to Taekwondo, Kiefer!

In the beginning of October Kiefer started taekwondo. He is only 2 1/2 ... you are really supposed to be 3 when you start ... but Kiefer has watched every single one of Krue's taekwondo classes for the past 2 years! He was doing the moves while standing with the parents :) The instructors knew he was ready to start.

Kiefer was so excited to put on his uniform and belt.

Miss Maddie was Kiefer's helper on the first day. She followed Kiefer around and made sure he was doing the moves correctly and standing in the right spot.

Having fun in taekwondo.
