Muscle Man Kiefer

Kiefer has the cutest body right now. His shoulders are broad, he is chunky, and has no neck...it makes him look like a little muscle man.
It is fun dressing Kiefer up in football jerseys because he looks like a little football player.
Look at this stud.
Always so happy and smiling!

Golfing on the Green with the Guys

My parents live on a golf course in Bluffton. One of Krue's favorite things to do is golf with my dad (Papa Joe). He really only putts on the green...but he loves it! Papa Joe even bought him a little putter to practice with.
Krue is actually pretty good! Maybe we have a Tiger Woods in the making :)
Krue also loves to pull the flag. So much fun!

Can't wait to putt around with you again, Papa Joe.

Special Playdate

Around the time Krue was born my friend, Myah, created an email group called "ask-a-mom". It is a group of moms who have kids about the same ages and bounce "mom related" questions off of each other. Out of this group there are about four of us moms who have really kept in touch and have gotten to know one another. We even have had the same amount of kids...all within months of each other!

After emailing each other for about 2 1/2 years we finally decided to get together and meet in person. Last Saturday we all met in Indy and had a playdate. It was so much fun! Can you imagine...four 2 year olds and four babies under the age of 9 months...in one house?
Thanks, Jenn, for hosting this fun and crazy day.

Delaware 2006 ~ Hayley & Rob's Wedding Weekend

This past weekend Lee and I flew to Delaware for my friend Hayley's wedding. Krue and Kiefer stayed with my parents for the 3 days we were gone (a nice little break for us!)
This trip was fun because most of my girlfriends from high school were in the wedding and we were able to hang out like old times. (From left to right: me, Stacy, Sarah, Tyson, and Schlaura).

Hayley practically lives on Rehoboth Beach and Lee and I stayed on Dewey Beach. We enjoyed our first morning walking the beaches, looking for shells, and relaxing (a little tough for Lee to do...I had to hold him back from breaking into a jog!)

We were able to hang out with Hayley the night before her wedding. We had so much fun at the rehearsal dinner and danced to a really good band!

These pictures are a little out of order. This is of Hayley and Rob after their wedding ceremony. They go married at this adorable church and then had a trolly take the wedding party to the beach for pictures and then on to the reception. Hayley's dress was stunning! She looked beautiful.

Most of the bridesmaids ready for the ceremony to start.

I like this picture. Hayley and her dad walking down the aisle.

We had so much fun on this trip! Congratulations Hayley and Rob. It was an honor to be a part of your special day.

Big Day for Krue

Yesterday was a big day for Krue. He started 2 year old pre-school! He has been talking about going to school for the past month and was so excited to finally start. The school is only 2 days a week from 9am-12 so it will be a good introduction to what school is all about. I walked him in and he took off to play with all the kids without looking back. Ah, my boy is growing up.

Yesterday Krue and I also started a "Mommy and Me" class. It is at Lee's Aunt Amy's dance studio in Ft. Wayne. Krue jumped right in and moved and danced to the music.

We also worked on some tumbling skills. (Krue had a hard time waiting his turn because he was so excited to get on the mat!)

We are so excited to be taking this class with my friend Myah and her daughter Sophie. (Sophie was Krue's first girlfriend!) Myah's daughter Halle is also in the picture showing off her moves as well. :)

Cereal - Yum!

For the past couple of weeks we have been introducing Kiefer to cereal. As you can see...he loves it! This boy is going to like his food :)

Lee's Birthday

Yesterday was Lee's actual birthday. To celebrate Lee and I got dressed up, asked a babysitter to come over (thanks Megan), and had dinner at Bridgewater Country Club. We sat outside on the screened in deck, overlooking the golf course, and had a wonderful meal all to ourselves. A very fun evening indeed!

Labor Day Weekend 2006

We love going to the lake with Lee's family...but I always forget to take pictures because we have so much fun! Labor Day weekend was no different. I did manage to get a couple of cute shots with Kiefer and Lee, Lee's aunt, and Lee's dad.

We spent Labor Day weekend visiting with friends and family, playing games in the park, going out on the boat occasionally, and eating :) At night we sat around a fire and told stories from our childhood, high school, and college days. So much fun!

My in-laws, Sam and Beth, are very generous and gracious to share their special lake house with so many people!

Krue is 2 1/2 Years Old

We can't believe Krue is 2 1/2! Lee and I were looking through pictures from the spring and we couldn't believe how much Krue has changed in only 6 months. Our little boy has grown out of the toddler look and is taking on more of a preschool look.

We are loving this stage Krue is in now. He cracks us up from the moment he wakes up until the moment he lies down to go to bed. The things that come out of his mouth are so cute and funny! Right now he LOVES everything. "Mom, I LOVE fireworks", "Dad, I LOVE apple juice", and of course, "I LOVE basketball!". He says, "bless you" whenever someone sneezes and always says "thank you" at the appropriate times. He is really into saying "yes I did" or "yes I am" even if it is not used correctly. For example, I'll say,"Krue, did you have fun today?" Krue will reply, "Yes I am!"

What a delight to have Krue around. We just love him to pieces!
