12 Weeks Already!

I cannot believe how fast time is going with this pregnancy. The first 12 weeks went great! My only minor complaints were acne and tired around 7pm some nights. Lee and the boys would add moodiness in there as well :) I have felt wonderful for the past week. I am able to stay up later and have lots of creative energy.

For each of my pregnancies I have followed the changes in my ever-expanding belly through pictures. I just love doing this! Here are the pictures I have taken for the first 3 months.

I am starting to get my pregnancy look in my face with the 3rd month picture. It is a distinct look I get during my pregnancies (puffy and pale face). My belly is definitely smaller in the mornings and gets larger as the day progresses :) It is so weird how that happens.

I am really excited about this pregnancy! Looking forward to seeing if we'll have a boy or girl. We already have our names picked out.

Fun Christmas Pictures

Before I knew exactly what our Christmas cards were going to be this year, I decided to mess around with the boys and try to capture a good shot. We didn't get anything too magnificent... but they turned out to be pretty cute pictures of Krue and Kiefer together. Check them out.

Our First Big Snowfall!

Last Sunday the boys had a ball playing out in the snow. It was the first time this year that we have had really good snow to play in. Lee and the boys spent the first hour outside playing... Lee got a good workout pulling them up and down the driveway in the sled. Then we decided to load up and go to the "big hill" in Auburn.

At the "big hill" we went sledding and Lee taught Krue and Kiefer how to snowboard. Krue loved it! Kiefer loved purposely falling :) The boys had so much fun that they wanted to go back after their naps. Lee took the boys again (I had to teach a class) and our sister-in-law, Amy, met them there. Neal, Lauren, and Graham also went this time which made it even more fun!

Here is Krue snowboarding. Pretty impressive!

Here is Kiefer snowboarding. Little stinker!

Wow! It's Like a Really Big TV!

Last Saturday night Lee and I decided to take the boys to see a movie in a movie theater for the very first time! We knew Krue would do great... and also that we should sit close to the aisle for loud and busy Kiefer.

We saw the movie Madagascar 2... pretty cute. I've never seen Madagascar 1 so I'm sure I didn't get the full effect. It was the only kids movie playing last weekend :) As we walked into the theater Krue exclaimed, "Wow! It's like a really big TV!" Krue and Kiefer loved getting a big tub of popcorn and munching away while the movie played.

Overall, the boys did a great job. Kiefer lost interest about half-way through and had to go to the bathroom about 4 times. Krue sat through the entire movie... but liked to ask questions loudly :) Luckily we were sitting next to some understanding families and the theater wasn't very packed at all.

It was a fun to see the boys experience a movie theater! Maybe next time we will just take Krue :) Sorry, Kiefer.

Special Announcement

On Thanksgiving day, Lee and I told everyone that we are expecting Baby #3! My mom bought me this shirt to wear in order to make the big announcement :) She is too cute.
We are all excited... the boys aren't too sure what to think. Krue says he doesn't really want a baby (but is asking lots of questions) and Kiefer says he wants a baby brother. I know they will be great big brothers when the time comes. I am 9 weeks pregnant this week and feeling good. We can't wait to meet the baby around the 4th of July!

Thanksgiving 2008

For Thanksgiving this year we went to Mamaw's house (my side Thanksgiving) for lunch and then Tracy and Phil's House (Nagel Thanksgiving) for dinner. As always, the food was wonderful and the company was fabulous! Here are some pictures:

My mom took the pictures that are small... I'm not sure why they won't enlarge for me? You can still see who is in them.

The Newlyweds at their first Thanksgiving together.

Mamaw ~ She made some pretty amazing food and her house looked so pretty.

Some fun shots.

Ready to eat!

I love this series of pictures. So cute!

Dad was sick, so Adam carved the turkey this year!

Amy made this yummy cheesecake (she is quite the little baker!) and I made two of these pies.

Mamaw's pretty table and Adam & Natalia ready to eat.

Here are some of my pictures I took:

Half of us were a mess on Thanksgiving day. For example...

If you look closely, Lee has a black eye. He mouthed off one too many times to me :) No, really he got it from his martial arts training.

Dad wasn't feeling well at all. Poor guy. He also cut his chin while shaving that morning :)

Mom broke her pinkie toe earlier that morning and had to wear flip flops to Thanksgiving!

It was so nice outside! The boys (Amy and Lee, too!) enjoyed playing with the soccer balls Mamaw got for them.

Enjoying the weather.

And of course, we can't forget the traditional board game on Thanksgiving... played by David, Chris, Adam, and Natalia. I'm surprised Amy didn't play!

Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures at the Nagel Thanksgiving. This is pretty typical considering there are so many people and things going on over there. Lots of little kids running around. It is great fun... but I never think about taking pictures. Darn.

The Shedd Aquarium with Uncle David

A couple of weekends ago Lee and Heath had a seminar in Chicago. The boys and I didn't have anything to do that weekend so we decided to travel to Chicago with them. We stayed at an Embassy Suites (which Krue and Kiefer think is the coolest place in the world because of the huge glass elevators) and the boys and I went to the Shedd Aquarium! To make things even more exciting and fun, we met Uncle David (who lives in Chicago) at the Aquarium.

We were all very excited to see the fish!

The boys loved driving through the city and looking at all of the tall skyscrapers.

Krue: Do they call them skyscrapers because they are so tall they are scraping the sky?

Looking at all of the cool fish with Uncle David.

Hard to see... but this is Kiefer gazing up at all of the fish and coral.

Krue liked to try match up the pictures on the plaques with all of the swimming fish.

This is the shark exhibit. They are blurry because I couldn't use flash photography.

Kiefer was startled by the big sharks swimming past him. (It was a little startling for his mom, too!)

Uncle David and the boys.

Kiefer was asleep 2 minutes after I put him in his car seat. It was a big day for a two year old!
