Easter 2010

Spring Break 2010

Update on Kiefer

Kiefer is our daily dose of laughter at the age of 4.  He is constantly doing or saying things that crack us up.   Kiefer's imagination is amazing as well... which adds to our laughter.  One of Kiefer's favorite things to do is make up stories about his imaginary friends: Jam, Boojoe & their cousin Max.  You can't forget about Jam's dog, Patron!  Kiefer also likes to make up names for stuffed animals, cars, and toys.  They are a riot!  (Ex:  Chocolate Blender is one of his matchbox cars.  "It is brown and sprays chocolate out of it's headlights to cover the other race car's windshields to block their view while they are racing."  How creative it that?)  Kiefer is well loved at school... by all of his teachers and friends.  School seems to come easy for him because he has seen Krue go through all of it at one time or another.... nothing gets past ol' Kief.  Recently Kiefer was in Uncle Nick and Aunt Erin's wedding as a ring bearer.  Boy did he look studly... he was very proud of his tux and hat!  (Did I mention that Kiefer is big into clothes and shoes?  He has a style all his own!)  We love our full-of-life Kiefer.

Update on Krue

Krue is such a neat kid at the age of 6.  He walks to the beat of his own, logical, drum.  He has such a caring and compassionate heart... and is a great older brother to Kiefer and Kai.  We have seen Krue change so much this year (you can see it in the following pictures).  Krue's 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Dean, says "I can count on Krue to always do the right thing.  He is a good boy and a hard worker."  What a nice compliment!  We are seeing a developing sense of self confidence and responsibility in Krue.  His reading is really coming along... and his math skills are amazing.  Krue loves basketball, baseball, playing with race cars, drawing & writing notes, learning how things work, wakeboarding, driving the boat, riding his bike, & quoting Spongebob :)  We love our Kruser!

Switching Back...

After a long break from using blogspot, I have decided to switch back.

This is the conclusion I have drawn:

1. The time it takes to upload pictures onto blogspot using my iMac is worth it over the format of the iMac blog.
2. No one seems to like the format of the iMac blog... they have a hard time pulling it up on their computers and also navigating around the blog.
3. The fact that I can print out a book from blogspot is my biggest deciding factor when it comes to switching back. How special to have all of my journaling documented for my kids when they get older!!

So... I'm switching back. Sorry for the confusion. I like this blog and will be here to stay.
