Adam and Natalia's Shower

Let's see, now where did I leave off...

Okay, the day after Abby's bachelorette party my sisters, mom, and I hosted a co-ed shower for Adam and Natalia at my mom and dad's house. My mom had it decorated so cute around the pool. We had the guests bring tools of every kind... kitchen, garden, yard, tinkering, etc. Adam and Natalia have been fixing up their house themselves and they love to cook together... so it was a perfect shower for the two of them.

Aren't they cute in their John Deer hats?

Enjoying the party while the guests introduced themselves to everyone and said how they know Adam and Natalia.

Mom made these adorable tool themed place settings that we gave out as door prizes.

We also sang happy birthday to Adam at the party in celebration of his 30th birthday!!

My sisters and my Mamaw greeting the guests as they arrived.
(Ali flew home for the occasion... what a sister!)

This gives you an idea of how the pool area was decorated.

I had Adam and Natalia play this game and whoever could unroll the toilet paper first would "wear the pants in the family". Adam won, but not by much :)

Natalia with her fun ribbon & bow "bouquet" to carry down the aisle at her rehearsal.

We can't wait to have her as a sister!

Abby's Shower and Bachelorette Party

The weekend after AJ and Lindsy's wedding I went to a shower and bachelorette party for Abby.
Abby's shower was hosted by her sister, Katy, in Craigville. It was so much fun and the food was fantastic! Katy worked hard to make the shower perfect.

She even created a real life Game of Family Feud ~ Bridal Edition. This is a picture of the winning team.

After the shower we ventured down to Indy where Abby's other sister, Mandy, arranged for her bachelorette party to take place.

All of the Nagel ladies shared a room together. It was great having some good ol' girl time!

We dressed Abby up in a tiara, veil, and sash and we headed out to Rock Bottom for some dinner.
After dinner we went to Crackers Comedy Club. Here is a picture of the entire group.

It was a fun night day and night for all!

AJ and Lindsy's Wedding

The weekend after Amy and Chris' wedding we attended our good friend's, AJ and Lindsy's, wedding. Lee was a groomsmen and it was a heck of a good time. I didn't take too many pictures, but Lindsy looked beautiful and the groomsmen looked very handsome as well. The band lead us in square dancing towards the end of the reception. How fun is that?

Bleach Blonde Babes

I forgot to post this picture with the other zoo pictures. I think this is so cute of Krue and Lauren... all blonde and tan from the summer sun. They look like they could be brother and sister.

Amy and Christopher's Wedding

And now for the much anticipated wedding pictures. Luckily my mom used my camera to take pictures before the ceremony, after the ceremony and at the reception. I had lots of good ones! I had to break up the pictures into three different sections because I had so many.
Enjoy!

Pre-Ceremony Pictures

Getting ready with the girls

Seeing the bouquet for the first time.

Beautiful!

Mother and Daughter

Amy wore my grandma's (Mamaw's) wedding dress. How cool is that? The material was still perfect and the prettiest color... candle lite.

The beautiful bride and all of her bridesmaids ready for the ceremony to begin.

Giving Amy one last squeeze before she walked down the aisle.

Balloons and Studabakers

After the ceremony the bridesmaids handed out balloons for the guests to release when Amy and Chris walked out of the church.

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Studabaker

The wedding party drove off in old fashion Studebaker cars... in honor of the newly wed couple's last name.

Amy and Chris were featured in the Indianapolis Star for riding to their reception in Studebaker cars. How fun!

Yes, we rode to the reception in the bed of this Studebaker truck. We even had a "oogah horn"! Everyone in Indy loved this... especially when we drove around the circle.

Mom and Dad. Don't they look fabulous?

Toasting the Happy Couple!!

Cheers!!

The Reception

Cutting the beautiful cake.

Jon Nodine, Lee, Adam, and Uncle David enjoying the reception.

These are pictures of Ali and I's speech. We made a huge book titled "The Fairy Tale Lovestory of Princess Amy" and pre-recorded the story of Amy's life growing up and how she met Christopher. We inserted little clips of music that went along with our story. It turned out very cute and we made Amy cry.

Chris and Amy's first dance.

Ali sang "At Last" with the jazz band while they danced.

Keeping the Krue entertained. Dancing with Mommy and playing basketball with cousin Maralee. (Check out Ali swing dancing with one of Amy's friends from college in the first picture.)

Kiefer loving the attention from his two soon-to-be aunts, Abby and Natalia.

Posing with several of my favorite ladies at the end of the night.

Amy and Chris leaving their reception to start their lives together.

It was an AMAZING wedding and reception! So classy and fun.

Congratulations, Amy and Christopher!!
