Lee has turned into quite a good surfer! He has dabbled in this hobby for the past 10 years or so... but decided to take it more seriously as of last year. He just loves it... and calls it his "Zen". It is a good way for him to reset. Why do his hobbies always have to be so complex? :)
Lee got a neat group of guys together and they took a trip in December to Rincon Beach, Puerto Rico for surf instruction and wave time. The group consisted of: Jeremy Ferris, Jason Watts, and Rob Ricketts... all chiropractic school buddies of Lee's... and then Nick DeLaGarza , a family friend... and Zack Johnson, a college buddy of Nicks whom Lee has gotten to know over the years. This was a great trip and many memories were made!
In March, Lee took a spontaneous trip back to Puerto Rico with his brother, Dan. They met up with the same surf instructors (who are now Lee's friends) and they got in more surfing time. They enjoyed their evenings hanging out with the locals. Lee made a video for me of the entire trip!
If I can dig up some pictures, I will post them. These were very active trips... not a lot of time for picture taking!
