Krue's First Day of Preschool

Today was Krue's first day of 3 year old preschool. I took some pictures of him before we left for school. We took some indoors, outdoors, glasses on, glasses off (you know me). I even tried one with Kiefer, but that wasn't happening :) Here are some of my favorites. He is getting so big!

I wasn't sure how Krue would do this year on his first day. Last year I dropped him off no problem. This year he kept asking if I was going to be "in his class". I told him no and that Kiefer and I would pick him up when he was done with school. This morning he walked right in and exclaimed, "Hi Mrs. Bell", she said, "Well hi Krue" and that was that. He was ready to go. He must have had a great time today because he didn't want to leave when I came to pick him up. I had to tell him that he would get to come back in two days and literally drug him out of the classroom. Geesh!

Krue has a really nice teacher and the kids in his class seem to work really well together. I am excited to see what Krue will absorb this year. He is such a smarty and I love it!

Special Picture

I forgot to put in this picture of Brandi and I. Brandi is one of my wonderful sister-in-laws. I love this girl and we never seem to get a picture together. We finally got one at Lee's party, yeah!
Had so much fun with you, Brandi!

Lee's 30th Birthday Party

Last weekend we celebrated Lee's 30th birthday at Sam & Beth's Lake House. We invited friends and family for a day at the lake. It was a great turn out and Lee had such a great time! Thanks to everyone for making this day special for Lee. Apologies to our friends who did not get invited. We had limited space and just couldn't have everyone we wanted. You ALL mean so much to Lee.

Tyler wore a special shirt in honor of Lee - Lee's step-mother, Beth, and my mom enjoying the day.

We took a couple of pontoon cruises throughout the day. I'm pretty sure we exceeded the weight limit on the boat. In fact, the front end submerged and got us all soaked. Now how can you do that on a pontoon??

Great Buds: Lee and AJ - Mel and I

Engaged Chris and Amy

The "Blogger Babes" : Me, Myah, Mel, Kelli, and Brandi. We have all gotten close and follow each other's growing families through our blogging.

Some good looking guys: Neal and Lee - Brother's: Dan, Lee, Ben, and Nick... missing Heath & Scott (and Sara, but she is obviously not a brother!)

"The Nagel Girls" .... Wives and Girlfriends and the Nagel Brothers. Brandi, Me, Amy, Erin, and Abby.

Lee's brother Ben brought ping pong paddles and had everyone paddle Lee for his birthday. It was getting Lee back for doing it to Ben on his 30th birthday and breaking the paddle!

Boxing Lessons with Lee

The other night Lauren and Krue showed some interest in Lee's boxing gloves... and that's all it took. Lee was immediately showing them the proper boxing techniques. They had a ball!

A Fun Day with the Girls

It is tradition over Labor Day weekend for my mom, my "second mom" ~ Fritzi, Neenee (Fritzi's Mom), and Bailey (Fritzi's Daughter who is like a little sister to me) to go to the craft show held around the square in town. We have so much fun every year and I look forward to the "Girls Only" day. Our town has about 12 different statues of people displayed around the square. We had a chance to check them out as we shopped the craft show. They are pretty neat!

Lee's Chopper

Lee's pride and joy is his chopper. He had it built two summers ago by Jeff Lindblom at KDZ Kustoms. Every chance he gets he is on that thing. My deal with him is that he has to wear a helmet NO MATTER WHAT if he is going to ride. On this day we were following him up to the lake and I snapped some pictures. It really is a cool looking bike. Nice work, Jeffrey.

Yeah, not the smartest move taking this picture. While we were driving right beside him I rolled down the window and snapped the picture.

Our Little Explorer

Lately, Kiefer has been quite the explorer. He loves to walk around the house and figure out how things work and find out what noises they will make. Lee's brother's have nicknamed him "Bam Bam" because he is either hitting something to make noises or falling and banging his own head :) I followed him around one morning and caught some of his "exploring" on my camera. What a little stinker!
