A Week at the Lake

Well, what do you expect when you go on vacation for an entire week :) We had a wonderful time staying up at our lake cottage as a family. I wouldn't say it was too relaxing...with wildman Kiefer running all over the place and friends up at the Nodines and Nagel lake houses all week long...but, we had a great time! The boys had a blast playing in the water, going out on the boat, and spending time with their Papa Sam, Grandma Beth, and uncles and aunts. Good thing they are social little boys...we kept them hopping! They were wiped out when we brought them home...so were Lee and I!

The entire week at the lake Kiefer thought it was so funny to throw his sippy cup overboard and watch people jump in to rescue it. Here is a picture of Lindsy during a rescue.

Jon made a lake trivia game set up jeopardy style. We formed teams and had actual buttons that send signals to his computer. We could see the questions on the TV screen. It was pretty high tech! My team "The backstreet boys" is pictures in the top left... Jimmy, Sarah, Dad, and Me. Lee's team ended up winning...go figure. Jon proposed to April later in the night during the fireworks. April is pictured with Patti in the bottom right corner.

It was great seeing everyone and hanging out this past week! Can't wait for next year.
